“We Can Recover Your Fund or Crypto Loss”: Avoiding a Second Fraud

Para kurtarma dolandırıcılığı konulu temsili görsel

People who have lost fund investments or crypto may receive messages offering to unlock accounts, obtain an SPK refund or recover a wallet. Wanting to reverse the first loss does not make a new payment demand trustworthy.

Is every advance fee fraudulent?

Legitimate legal or technical services may charge a fee; a request for payment alone is not proof of a crime. False official identities, guaranteed recovery, pressure to pay “tax” into a personal account and secrecy are warning signs. Independently verify the provider, scope and contract. Using the name of SPK or MASAK does not establish official authority.

Understand the technical limits

Showing a transaction hash does not prove access to a private key or authority to return funds. Official fund-liquidation payments cannot be changed by a supposed insider. Do not provide remote access, seed phrases or one-time codes to someone calling themselves support. Preserve claims that another payment will unlock earlier funds.

If you made a second payment

Document the original loss and the recovery-related payment on separate timelines. Record the new person, account, wallet, domain and conversations. Notify the bank or platform promptly. A connection with the first incident may be investigated, but do not assume the same perpetrators without evidence. Originals of subsequently deleted messages can be important.

How to recognise a genuine assistance process

Open known institutional and provider contact channels yourself. Do not upload identity documents through an unsolicited message link. Legal assistance explains records, options and uncertainty rather than promising a fixed recovery date or result. An initial approach to JURIVEX can describe the events and payments to define the assessment’s scope.

How to organise your application file

Set out events chronologically and match each payment, instruction and reply to its record. Keep original files and capture screenshots with dates and URLs. Retain proof of delivery for written applications. If a statement changes, preserve the earlier version as well. Avoid publishing identity and account information on public channels.

Frequently asked question

What should I never share with someone promising recovery?

Do not provide wallet recovery words, private keys, bank passwords, one-time codes or remote access. Clarify the service scope and payment terms in writing; a promise of guaranteed recovery is not a verified result.
