Personal Data Notice
Last updated: 9 September 2026
Purpose and scope
Protecting personal data and keeping contact information confidential are core principles governing the use of the JURIVEX website. This notice explains the purposes and principles of processing personal information shared in connection with enquiries, together with your rights.
Information provided when contacting us
Your name, email address, telephone number and the information you provide in a message through the contact form, email or WhatsApp are considered in the context of your enquiry. Personal information that is not necessary for the matter concerned should not be requested.
Purposes and legal grounds for processing
Contact information is used to review enquiries, answer questions and communicate about the legal services requested. Where the relevant conditions are met, processing relies on Article 5(2)(c) of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) for matters directly related to entering into or performing a contract; Article 5(2)(ç) for compliance with legal obligations; and Article 5(2)(e) where processing is necessary to establish, exercise or protect a right. Where a separate processing activity requires explicit consent, consent must be obtained specifically for that activity.
Data protection and transfers
Personal data should be processed for specified and legitimate purposes, only to the extent necessary and in connection with those purposes. Access should be limited according to responsibilities and need, with due regard to professional confidentiality. Domestic and international transfers must have a valid legal basis and the safeguards required by the relevant provisions of the KVKK. External communication services, such as WhatsApp, also apply their own data processing terms.
Retention
Retention takes account of the time needed to consider an enquiry, any ongoing professional engagement, statutory obligations and the periods relevant to protecting legal rights. When the reasons for processing cease to apply, data should be erased, destroyed or anonymised in accordance with applicable legislation.
Your rights
Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you may ask whether your personal data is processed, request information about any processing, and learn its purpose and whether the data is used accordingly. You may learn which third parties receive your data in Türkiye or abroad, request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data, request erasure or destruction where the statutory conditions are met, and ask for recipients to be notified of those actions. You may also object to an adverse outcome arising from analysis carried out exclusively by automated systems and seek compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
Requests and contact
You may send questions and requests concerning your personal data to info@jurivex.net. Please clearly state your request and provide contact details for a response. Depending on the nature of the request, further information may be required to verify your identity or authority. The statutory procedures for submitting requests under the KVKK remain applicable. Requests submitted in accordance with those procedures are answered as soon as possible and within thirty days at the latest; any fees are governed by the applicable legislation.
